Overview
A Knoxville native, Steve attended the University of Southern California and graduated summa cum laude with a bachelor’s degree in political science and a minor in international relations. Steve graduated law school from Chapman University Dale E. Fowler School of Law in Orange County, California, within the top fifteen percent of his class. While at Chapman, Steve also served as an editor on the law review and his comment was selected for publication.
After graduating from law school, Steve served for two years as the legal clerk for the Honorable Mark S. Wallace, bankruptcy judge, for the Central District of California, Santa Ana Division. Steve’s practice focuses primarily on business litigation and intellectual property disputes.
Steve is also currently serving as a Major and infantry company commander in the United States Marine Corps Reserve. He has deployed five times, including combat deployments to Iraq and Afghanistan. He originally joined the Marine Corps as a private in 2001 after graduating from Farragut High School. Steve is also a business owner and combines this experience with his legal knowledge and military discipline to provide the best possible results for his clients.
