Throwback Thursday – Don’t Move To Alabama by Jeremy Miller

In the September 2017 issue of the Knoxville Bar Association’s DICTA Publication, Jeremy Miller explains the large variance in the amount of workers’ compensation awarded from state to state. Specifically considering the loss of an arm, Jeremy explains some very interesting situations in which workers’ compensation was awarded to employees. He suggests that those prone to mishaps on the job may want to avoid moving Alabama where the lowest workers’ compensation is awarded.
