Melissa Carrasco has been featured in the September issue of KBA’s DICTA Publication!
Melissa details the inspiring story of Charity Adams Earley and her journey to establish the Women’s Army Corps. Charity overcame the barriers of segregation and limited employment options to create opportunities for herself and many other women wanting to serve their country during WWII. The Women’s Army Corps. gave women the ability to serve in an official military capacity. As she was sent to the 6888th Central Postal Directory Battalion her story was just beginning. Melissa leaves us on a cliffhanger, as we must wait until October to hear more of Charity’s story.
