Nick Chase focuses his practice in the areas of Mergers & Acquisitions and Corporate Law. He regularly represents clients in a variety of transactions:

  • Structuring and Formation of Partnerships, Corporations, Limited Liability Companies, Non-Profit Corporations, and other entities

Nick has also assisted commercial clients in the acquisition, sale, and leasing of commercial real estate and the creation of new residential and commercial communities. His representations have covered a variety of industry sectors, including retail, food service, and manufacturing.

Prior to attending law school, Nick worked for ten years in the private sector. He still enjoys serving as a sounding board for growth companies and takes a holistic, long-term approach to any company’s development strategy.

While in law school, Nick was a Student Materials Editor on the Tennessee Law Review, a member of the National Moot Court Team, a member of the Moot Court Board, and a member of Transactions: The Tennessee Journal of Business Law, for which he wrote multiple notes.

Nick currently teaches Mergers & Acquisitions as an adjunct professor at the University of Tennessee College of Law, and is a member of the Hamilton Burnett Inns of Court, the Knoxville Estate Planning Council, as well as the American, Tennessee, and Knoxville Bar Associations.
