Overview
Dalton graduated in the top ten percent of his class at the University of Tennessee College of Law, where he attended as a Tennessee Law Scholar and served as a Graduate Research Assistant. He earned Certificates of Academic Excellence in Administrative Law, Civil Pre-Trial Litigation, Trial Practice, and Contract Drafting. Dalton also served as a Research Editor on the Tennessee Law Review. During his final semester at the University of Tennessee, Dalton worked with the Tennessee Administrative Office of the Courts, where he lobbied the Tennessee General Assembly for the adoption of pro-judicial policies.
Prior to attending law school, Dalton graduated summa cum laude from the University of Kentucky with a Bachelor of Public Health. During Dalton’s undergraduate studies, he focused on giving back to his community, completing over 400 hours of community service and serving in various leadership roles within service-oriented student organizations.
Given Dalton’s Eastern Kentucky roots, he enjoys being in nature and regularly visits the Smoky Mountains on weekends.
