Upon graduating from law school in 1947, Bill Davis joined the law offices of Egerton, McAfee, and Armistead. He was named a partner less than two years later, and the firm’s current name was established. He concentrates his practice in the following areas:
- Estate Planning
- Probate
- Taxation
- Corporate Law
- Commercial Law
Mr. Davis is a member of the Knoxville, Tennessee, and American Bar Associations. He serves on the Philadelphia Prison Ministry Board, as well as on the board of the Helen Ross McNabb Foundation. He helped organize the Joy of Music Foundation, the Hillcrest-Beverly Foundation, and the Historic Tennessee Theater Foundation. Additionally, he is a past president of Sertoma International, and was recently recognized for excellence of service by the Knoxville Bar Foundation.
He and his wife have four grown children, eleven grandchildren, and one great-grandson.
